As you might have heard, we’re relaunching! Big exciting changes are coming to the world of Potion Punch 2.
From new ways to play, to perked-up Patrons, everything is brand-spanking-new in our latest update. Even our beloved Peakwood Potions will feel fresh to veteran shopkeepers.
⚠️ Because of this, everyone will be starting again from the beginning and level progress will be RESET. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to keep most of your hard-earned unlocks from before this update. Otherwise, the ones that will not be compatible with the game anymore will be converted into Gems of equivalent value. In other words…

There’s a whole lot in store waiting in the big update, including…
- New Content
- Experience a new story starring a mysterious new player character!
- Brand new events coming soon for you to enjoy!
- New Levels
- Reworked each venue’s mechanics for a more streamlined and balanced experience.
- Added around 100 levels per venue.
- Each Star counts as its own unique level with its own unique challenges. Have fun completing them all!
- World Changes
- Added the Shop Hub to the game, a new navigation screen showcasing your current shop’s interior.
- Replaced the old Furnishing system, which changed the shop and its surrounding buildings.
- Instead, each shop’s interior can now be decorated with Furnishings.
- Exterior furnishings that you’ve acquired prior to the update will be converted into Gems.
- Worker Changes
- Adjusted Worker Abilities to make them more impactful.
- Instead of each having three different abilities, Workers now have a single powerful ability to further emphasize their role and make them feel more unique.

- Patron Changes
- Each Patron now has their own special ability called their Perk.
- Perks grant bonuses, such as restoring patience or even granting items.
- Perks activate the first time a Patron is served during a level.
- Rebalanced drop rates for unlocking Patrons via Host a Party.
- Added unlocks and new ways to enhance Patrons.
- Each Patron now has their own special ability called their Perk.
- UI Changes
- Added more customization to the Player Profile.
- Added many new Avatars.
- Added unlockable Titles and Badges.
- Updated Chapter Select screen.
- Updated Shop Upgrade screen.
- Updated Quest screen.
- Added more customization to the Player Profile.
- Reworked Progression
- Reworked Popularity Points into Rank, which grants rewards as you accumulate Fame, which is gained as you continue to run your shop, progress through the game, and complete various quests.
- Replaced the old Achievement system with Epics.
- Epics grant rewards like exclusive badges, titles, and avatars based on objectives you accomplish over your entire shopkeeping career.
- New Control Schemes
- Added support for both the new Tap and classic Drag control schemes.
- Economy Changes
- Rebalanced coin and gem economy.
- Mana and Appetizers will no longer regenerate over time, but can be obtained as rewards from levels, quests, or even Patrons!
- Various adjustments, improvements, and bug fixes!
We hope that these changes will feel like a whole new experience while still being the game you know and love. We’re working very hard on this and are all very excited to bring you this update!
